Job Description

Responsible for providing outpatient therapy- individuals and families who are going through challenging emotional, mental, and psychological times. 

Therapies include individuals, couples, groups, and families. Implement Psychotherapy techniques, behavioral interventions, diagnosis, assessment, and treatment planning. Provide Crisis Intervention and support to clients with developmental issues. Ensure a clear theoretical foundation of structural family therapy principles and techniques guides care. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with community members and referral sources. Individual and/or group supervision is available. Video and Live Supervision is available.  

Minimum Position Requirements:

Education/Training:
Master’s Degree in counseling, rehabilitative counseling, social work, psychology, or closely related field. Must possess a valid license in mental health. Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Experience/Knowledge/Background and Training:

Masters Level Licensed Clinician required. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. Experience in community mental health serving individuals with varying mental health diagnoses preferred.

Skills:

Must possess basic computer/keyboarding skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills on an individual, group, and community basis.

Appearance/Personality:

An Honest Willingness to Learn and Seek Supervision. Courtesy and professional business demeanor and presentation are critical. Due to the personally sensitive nature of information in this area. Must have the ability to work well with diverse groups of people and be extremely flexible.

Special Requirements:

Experience with clinical supervision, crisis management, knowledge of Private Insurance, DMAS, and Licensure regulations.
