Alyssa Santuk-Kidwell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about meeting clients where they are and working collaboratively to support them in becoming the best versions of themselves, leading happy and healthy lives. Alyssa uses a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, integrating cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, structural family therapy, and play therapy/expressive arts interventions into her practice.
Alyssa has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and families in the clinical and community settings, including child welfare and case management. Her areas of experience include trauma, attachment, foster care, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem.
Alyssa received her Bachelor’s Degree from Old Dominion University in 2013 and her Master’s Degree from The Catholic University of America in 2018. Alyssa has over 8 years of experience in the mental health field.
Outside of the office, Alyssa enjoys spending time with friends and family, including her two dogs, hiking, reading, and traveling.
