  • Intensive In-Home Services

    Intensive In-Home Services

    It is designed for children under the age of 18 who are:

    • At the risk of being removed from the home or community.
    • Transitioning back into the community from an out-of-home placement.
    • Exhibiting significant difficulties in daily life due to emotional, mental, or behavioral conditions.
    • Not helped by less intensive services such as out-patient counseling or therapy.
    Parent/Guardian will need the following at the appointment:
    • Medicaid Card
    • Applicable School Records for the past six months
    • Records from other behavioral healthcare services your child has received
    • Juvenile Court Records, if applicable
    • Any additional pertinent information regarding the child’s conduct or habits.
    Once the assessment is completed and your child needs services, please get in touch with our intake department to begin services. If you need any assistance during this process, please get in touch with us. CAVA will provide a team of clinicians to help families so children can remain at home. Individual and family counseling, parent coaching, and case management support families and children.  

  • Therapeutic Mentoring

    Therapeutic Mentoring

    Our Therapeutic Mentoring program is designed to develop the necessary skill set for youth in need of therapeutic support to achieve success in academics, relationships with peers & adults, and as active community members. Based on a strong clinical foundation, the therapeutic mentoring program is specifically designed to model, motivate, and inspire participants. The mentor and participant work collaboratively to establish, repair, and strengthen relationships that promote healthy partnerships for the participant while involving them in creating and working towards their vision for their future.

  • Parent Coaching

    Parent Coaching

    Offering on-going family support and parent education using effective techniques, sound clinical skills, and dedication to caring for and serving families. Our coaches will assist parents in bringing out inner resources and strengths, helping families in appreciating their own resiliency, and discovering answers for their unique situations. Our coaches are there to listen, affirm, nudge, and nurture in the direction of healthy goals and dreams. Appreciate more enjoyment in your parenting and begin enjoying your children more. We provide the ultimate in family support and parent guidance resulting in positive changes for the entire family.

  • Latino Access Program

    Latino Access Program

    Nuestro compromiso con la comunidad nos lleva a dar apoyo y orientación para acceder a los diferentes recursos y servicios de salud mental en la comunidad. A través del Programa de Acceso Latino, recibirá orientación sobre: tipos de solicitudes y servicios, diferentes agencias, llenado de formularios, procesamiento de solicitudes, envío y recepción de documentos, etc. Este programa de orientación es GRATUITO, y está diseñado para atender las preguntas y necesidades específicas de su familia. CAVA ha formado una comunidad de profesionales de la salud mental con diversos conocimientos y habilidades, todos con el deseo y la pasión de ayudar a otros proporcionándoles un espacio seguro y confidencial. Venga con nosotros, estaremos encantados de ayudarle a resolver sus preguntas sobre salud mental, así como los servicios existentes. * Actualmente solamente disponible en nuestra oficina de Charlottesville, lunes y miércoles de 9:00 a.m. a 12:00 p.m.
